Chief for Professional Fiduciaries Bureau Appointed

Governor Schwarzenegger has appointed Mellonie Yang as Chief for the Professional Fiduciaries Bureau. As a Special Consultant for the Department of Consumer Affairs since March 2007 and as the first appointed Chief, Yang has been involved in establishing the Bureau to license professional fiduciaries by July 1, 2008. Prior to that, Yang served as the lead attorney for legislation and governmental affairs for the California District Attorneys Association since 2001 and as the legislative director for Assemblymember Charlene Zettel from 1999 to 2001.
